Ingredients
  

For Blending

  • 1 cup organic acai puree frozen
  • 1 banana frozen
  • ½ cup passion fruit juice
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup low-fat greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon organic cane sugar syrup

For Toppings

  • 3 tablespoon mixed berries such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon dry coconut or ½ tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon dry fruits I use macadamia nuts
  • 1 teaspoon mixed seeds such as sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, and flaxseed

Instructions
 

Blending phase:

  • To create the actual bowl part, blend the above blending ingredients together slowly at first to get it going, and then worked up to full speed for about one minute until smooth.

Toppings phase:

  • You can use mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
  • Add some dry coconut or desiccated coconut
  • Finish off with some dry fruits like macadamia nuts and mixed seeds like sunflower, sesame, and flaxseed for a chilly crunch.

Notes

  • If you don't have acai pulp or puree, you can use 1 tablespoon of acai powder instead.
  • For best results, use organic ingredients whenever possible when making acai bowls.
  • The acai puree and banana should both be organic and free of any pesticides or additives to ensure maximum nutrition.
  • Additionally, you can mix up the toppings you use to add variety to your bowl each time. Try frozen mango chunks, kiwi, granola, nuts, and even spirulina powder to get creative!
