  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons loose black tea leaves
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or honey


  • Start by brewing a strong cup of black tea. You can use any type of black tea you like, but I recommend Assam or Darjeeling.
  • Next, add milk to taste.
  • Finally, sweeten to taste. You can use sugar, honey, or agave nectar.


Make sure you use good quality tea leaves and enjoy your tea with cookies or samosas.
