Easy Tuna Pasta Recipe

This tuna pasta with chili, anchovies and garlic is a simple, yet extremely tasty quick meal which can be a quick mid-week fix or a weekend lunch celebration that’s how good this dish is!

You’ve come to the right place, as this tuna sauce is lightly spicy (or as spicy as you want it to be), ready in under 30 minutes and extremely delicious! 

Ingredients

– 240 g dry pasta – 2 Tablespoons olive oil – 150 g finely sliced red onion – 2 cloves fresh garlic – 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder – 6 anchovies

Ingredients

– 1 tin tuna in water – 1 Tablespoon tomato paste – 1/2 teaspoon dry parsley – 700 g tomato passata – 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar – Water as needed – Salt to taste

Cook the onion and garlic in olive oil with a bit of salt

Once the onions are soft, add the chopped anchovies

Next, add the drained tuna and the chili flakes

Add the tomato puree and the parsley to the sauce

Add the tomato passata and some water

Allow the tuna sauce for the pasta to simmer away

Once ready, add the cooked pasta to the sauce pan

Mix well the pasta with tuna and tomato sauce
