This chicken curry recipe is a real treat: ready in 30 minutes and delicious!

This is one of the recipes I give my friends when they ask me how to make an easy chicken curry

Ingredients

– 1 tbsp Sunflower Oil or any oil that has no flavor – 2 Red Onions – 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste – ½ tsp Turmeric Powder – 3 tsp Coriander Powder – 2 Green Chilies

Ingredients

– 1 + ½ Tomato – 2 tsp Red Chili Powder – 6 Skinless Chicken Thighs diced – 1 tsp Garam Masala – 1 handful Fresh Cilantro (Coriander) – Salt to Taste

Prepare the onion paste for the curry - Slice the onions

Add the sliced onions to the blender

Onion paste is now ready!

Cook the onion and ginger-garlic paste in some oil

Cook the curry base thoroughly - should take a few minutes

Add turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix

Allow the spices to cook then add tomato and green chilies

Mix the curry base well while keeping on medium flame

Allow to cook until the tomatoes become soft

Add water and once it simmers, add the red chili powder

Add the diced chicken thighs to the simmering curry

Mix well the chicken with the curry until fully coated

Add water to the curry and simmer until nearly cooked

Add some garam masala and finish cooking the chicken curry

As a final step, add some cilantro (coriander) and serve!
